Richard Demwell

Richard is a senior accredited psychotherapist, counsellor and clinical supervisor. Since starting his training in 2006, he has become a senior accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and a registered member of the British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC). He has advanced training in providing online therapy. He has a Masters degree in psychodynamic counselling and psychotherapy, and has a pluralistic interest in all forms of depth psychology. He has worked as a therapist in the NHS, higher education and charity sectors and is currently in full-time private practice. Richard is a highly experienced therapist with an extensive knowledge and skillset in working with individual adults of all ages and backgrounds.

Due to its close proximity to central London and the City, the practice is popular with both young and established working professionals who want to understand themselves and their situations better.
Working from a psychodynamic perspective, Richard's focus and interest is on how you understand yourself now, and how important relationships from the past have influenced and impacted your understanding of who you are today. Working collaboratively, therapy supports you to understand yourself better to facilitate change.
